Sometimes the rain might last a little longer than we want; but despite the visible weather conditions, the sun is *always* there — and it’s always shining with the same force.

In the same manner, life is always showing up FOR us, even if we might not see or feel it in that very moment.

The sun was setting as I joined the crew of our bo

The sun was setting as I joined the crew of our boat to make a re-supply stop at a small fishing village, home to around 2,000 people.

As we docked, the whole town seemed to be outside on this beautiful evening, gathered on their patios and the village square— socializing with warm smiles and greetings; sharing food at the breaking of the Ramadan fast.

Having gathered our supplies, we headed back to the port. I noticed this little girl about the age of 8 or 9 staring out at the gorgeous sunset. A slight breeze caused gentle waves to move over her headscarf, which effortlessly matched the pink glow of the clouds — as the call to prayer was delivered in the background.

It was one of those moments that felt like a scene from some movie— yet there I was— grateful to have been able to capture a millisecond of it to share with you.
